A Dying Planet Signs With Lifeforce Records

US progressive metal band A Dying Planet have inked a deal with Lifeforce Records.
Official press release:
We are thrilled to welcome progressive metal act A Dying Planet to the Lifeforce Records roster.
Progressive metal guitarist songwriter Jasun Tipton – known for his work in Zero Hour, Cynthesis, Abnormal Thought Patterns, and more over the past two decades – arises in 2021 with his newest musical entity, A Dying Planet. The outfit has completed its sophomore album, When the Skies are Grey, and has slated its worldwide release for September of 2021 on Lifeforce Records.
Hailing from Northern California, Jasun Tipton (guitar, songwriter) is the creative force behind A Dying Planet. The band started with one song, “Missing,” which Jasun had written. He played the track for Troy (his brother and collaborator), who has not been able to play bass for several years now due to a serious arm injury. Troy immediately expressed his desire to write and perform vocals for the material. As more new material was created, Jasun reached out to drummer Marco Bicca and bassist Brian Hart to forge a very talented rhythm section, and the lineup was complete. The four members then headed to the studio and self-tracked what would become their debut album. Paul Adrian Villarreal (Ex-Sun Caged) was the featured vocalist for the song “Resist.” On this new album Paul took over all vocal duties and is now the official singer for A Dying Planet, while Jasun and Troy continued to provide the lyrics.
